As a mother to two young children in a trilingual household and a former educator, my boys’ education is of the utmost importance. When I struggled to find materials in both English and Arabic — especially ones that encouraged hands-on learning away from screens — I set out to create my own books and activity packets for them.

Friends also shared similar frustrations, often relying on YouTube videos or online games to expose their children to bilingual content. I quickly realized there was a broader need for engaging, screen-free resources for my little ones and other children as well.

And so Little Ummah Books was created! By calling my business Little Ummah Books, I imagine a warm, welcoming space for our youngest learners, a “little ummah” of children growing up with love for both the English and Arabic languages.

As a small business, I will soon sell products directly on this website, Amazon, and in person. Please come back in August 2025!
